Omni's proposed restoration calls for the gutting and complete renovation of the 180-unit complex. This renovation will be the first major upgrade at the property since its construction in 1952, and will provide modernized and energy-efficient units, meeting all regulations for handicapped accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Groundbreaking on the $40 million renovation is anticipated by spring time with completion in three to five years.
