Olshan Frome Wolosky promotes Sluszka to partner and Stone to counsel

Manhattan, NY Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP has elevated Dorothy Sluszka to partner and Daniel Stone to counsel at the firm. These promotions were earned through responsive, results-driven work and client service. The new positions were effective as of January 1, 2025.

“We congratulate Dorothy and Daniel on their promotions and outstanding service and guidance to clients in complex legal matters,” said Olshan co-managing partners Nina Roket and Andrew Freedman. “Their dedication to excellence and moving the industry forward is notable, and we look forward to their continued contributions in their new roles.”

Sluszka will serve as a partner in the firm’s shareholder activism practice, where she represents hedge funds, other investors, and stakeholders in shareholder activism matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, and related matters. Sluszka received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, cum laude, where she was the Senior Articles Editor for the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law. She received her B.A. from New York University. She is a published author.

Stone will be a counsel in the firm’s litigation practice. He represents clients in sectors ranging from real estate to financial services and beyond to resolve complex business disputes in federal and state courts and through arbitration and mediation proceedings. Stone received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, magna cum laude, where he was the staff/development editor of the Annual Survey of American Law, an Allen Scholar, and a member of the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. from Yale University.
