O'Neill of Cushman & Wakefield handles AT&T lease for 2,000 s/f

According to Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services, (C&W) AT&T Mobility has signed a new retail lease at 254 Canal St.
AT&T Mobility signed a 10-year lease for 2,000 s/f on the ground floor of the building, located on the southwest corner of Lafayette St. The space is currently occupied by Bank of America, which recently relocated to the corner of Canal St. and Broadway.
Michael O'Neill of C&W represented the landlord of 254 Canal St., 254 Associates LLC, in marketing the available space and in lease negotiations with AT&T Mobility.
"Despite the economic downturn, the number of quality retail opportunities on Canal Street continues to be extremely limited," said O'Neill, a director at C&W. "AT&T Mobility secured an excellent location at 254 Canal St. in what will be a spectacular market for them."
Built in 1857, 254 Canal Street is a five-story, landmarked building.
