NYSCAR president’s message: A look back and ahead - by Robert Strell

Robert Strell

I’d like to thank everyone for their support during 2023.  NYSCAR has always strived to provide the membership with comprehensive networking/marketing opportunities and quality commercial education.

In 2023, in addition to an increase in membership and financial stability:

Over 400 practitioners took advantage of the NYSCAR classes provided free of charge to all members!

NYSCAR reached their RPAC goal again this year – thanks to the generosity of the membership!

We had a successful annual conference and marketing session in Central New York.

The board approved a marketing plan to heighten public awareness of NYSCAR

In 2024, NYSCAR will continue to keep the best interest of the members at the forefront of our endeavors while continuing to promote ethical business practices.

Our goals are to continue free education, have a new improved website and increased visibility of NYSCAR. I would also encourage all chapters and members to participate in some community and charitable events in your local communities.

Although there are many challenges and probable changes facing the real estate industry, I am optimistic for the future.  The industry has had challenges in the past and has always come through, adapting and moving forward.

Thank you once again for your vote of confidence to serve as president in 2024.

Robert Strell is president of NYSCAR, Albany, N.Y.
