Muessel, Lee, and Esses secure 5,000 s/f office sale

The CPEX New York office investment sales team announce the sale of a second floor co-operative office space located at 142 Joralemon Street. Situated between Sidney Place and Clinton Street, the second floor of the 13-story office building consists of 12 individual offices, a conference room, and other miscellaneous office space totaling 5,000 s/f. Located near the U.S. District Court and Brooklyn Law School, as well as neighboring tenants Starbucks and FedEx, the property was delivered triple-net leased. CPEX's office sales team, consisting of managing director David Muessel, associate director Yok Lee and associate Jacques Esses, represented the seller in this transaction and procured the purchaser, a private investor. "This transaction represents a further indication of the strength of the burgeoning Downtown Brooklyn marketplace," stated Muessel. "Both seller and purchaser, who will continue operating a law firm in the space, view the future of the downtown Brooklyn marketplace as the center of commerce for Kings County. Both see their presence in Downtown Brooklyn as important components of their respective long term strategies."
