MetaProp appoints Finegold entrepreneur-in-residence

New York, NY Elie Finegold, former senior vice president at CBRE and managing director of Island Capital Group has joined MetaProp as its entrepreneur-in-residence. Finegold will provide guidance to startups on strategy, investments, research and business development and act as MetaProp’s global ambassador to the real estate industry.

As Aaron told Bisnow, “Elie is one of the pioneers of U.S. PropTech. He has had more success as an entrepreneur and intrapreneur than most people achieve in a lifetime. We’ve respected Elie’s work for years and are thrilled that he is now spending more time with MetaProp’s operating businesses, portfolio companies and global partners.” 

As CBRE’s SVP of global innovation and business intelligence, Finegold formed CBRE Labs and guided the brokerage in its strategic technology investments and partnerships. Prior to CBRE, he was on the foundingteam, and was a partner, managing director, and chief administrative officer of Island Capital Group (ICG), a leading real estate investment banking company.
