May 2018 be a great year for us all! The New Year looks promising and once again, The Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors (BMNAR) is off to a rolling start. There are three exciting events coming up that you should plan to attend. If you are a bowler, BMNAR’s first event is right up your “alley.”
On March 6, 2018, you are encouraged to “spare” an evening and “roll” with us at the 3rd Annual “Bowling with BMNAR.” The evening promises to be a “Bowl” of fun. This all-inclusive package was designed to keep Realtors and bowlers out of the “gutter.” For the low price of $125 per bowler (per bowler price is lower when you purchase a package deal), you can bowl for 2 ½ hours, eat and drink all you can while helping to grow your business by “striking” up a conversation with the management companies that will be sponsoring the lanes. Come out and let the “pins” fall where they may as you have a “ball” among friends in the real estate industry. “Bowling with BMNAR” is limited to 150 bowlers.
Our next major event is the 94th annual “Banquet” on April 25, 2018, at the fabulous Marina del Rey, located at 1 Marina Dr. in the Bronx. Last year, 350 guests attended the black tie affair and celebrated the evening with our honorees. The committee is still working on selecting the honorees and the keynote speaker is to be determined. As soon as I know, you will know. However, mark your calendars accordingly as an impressive group of industry business and elected officials will be in attendance as Dais Guests. Networking Cocktail Hour begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program and formal dinner at 7:00 p.m.
We started with a ball and we’ll end with a ball, although much smaller. If you are golfer or tennis player, get on the ball and sign up for our 83rd Annual Golf and Tennis Outing. This year’s outing will take place at the Fresh Meadows Country Club in Lake Success on June 18, 2018, and it will feature a comprehensive full day of activities including: Prize drawings; golf tournament; tennis tournament; sports memorabilia silent auction; networking opportunities; and much more. During our fundraising dinner for Camp Good Days, we will honor: The Morgan Family, Morgan Group, as the Outstanding Realtor Members; and, Edward Friedman, Novick, Edelstein, Lubell. Reisman, Wasserman, & Leventhal P.C., as the Outstanding Affiliate Member.
