NAI Platform has negotiatd a new multi-year lease for a total of 69,000 s/f of Class A office space at 900 Watervliet Shaker Rd. The ownership, represented by Felton McLaughlin, Daniel O'Brien and Joe Sausto of NAI Platform, is Landfair, LP and Chafee Investment Properties LP, sister companies to Elysee Management Group, Inc. of California. The tenant is Capital Region BOCES, represented by Eileen Lindberg and Tom MacLarence of CB Richard Ellis. "NAI Platform provided invaluable advice and market knowledge in negotiating this complex transaction which involved a doubling of the tenant's space and a new multi-year term. As an investment firm who owns properties all over North America, with interests in Asia and Europe, the extensive local expertise that we needed and obtained from the team of Daniel O'Brien, Felton McLaughlin, and Joe Sausto was and remains much appreciated. In short, "we couldn't have done it without ya!!" In fact, we were so pleased with the level of service provided by NAI Platform on the brokerage side of their business that we also decided to hire Platform Management Group to handle property management duties." As part of this expansion, Capital Region BOCES plans to build a data center. This Northeastern Regional Information Center will cover a geographic service center of 12 counties and provide advanced technical service to 140 school districts. As such, fiber into the building from multiple telecommunications carriers, electrical redundancy, and high capacity HVAC were all part of the requirement.
