Goldberg Segalla, which handles a wide variety of litigation, transactional, and regulatory matters for clients across the globe, is one of the fastest growing law firms in the United States and one of the largest in Western New York. The expansion will allow the firm to consolidate its two local offices, bringing an additional 55 employees into the downtown sector, with additional hires planned in the coming months. The announcement that the firm plans to expand its downtown Buffalo headquarters follows recent news of the opening of its two newest offices, in St. Louis, Missouri and Greensboro, North Carolina. Both opened in March.
McGuire Development, through 665 Main Partners, LP, has had an ownership stake along with Gerald Lippes and Larry Quinn in the signature downtown core building since it was constructed in 2002. McGuire Development also manages the leasing and property management for the facility.
"We're delighted that Goldberg Segalla has elected to expand its office space at 665 Main Street," stated James Dentinger, president of McGuire Development Company. "With the return of street traffic to this area, and the increased development activity in downtown Buffalo, the opportunity to bring additional workers into the city couldn't be more timely. Our team is looking forward to continuing our relationship with Goldberg Segalla and is eager to work with the firm on this expansion."
"Even as we continue to expand into markets around the country and globe, at its heart Goldberg Segalla will always be a Western New York firm," said Managing Partner Richard J. Cohen. "We couldn't think of a better way to pay homage to the city that started it all for us than by planting our roots even deeper here."
