Melville, NY Anthony Manetta has merged his consulting company, Standard Advisors Group, into HB Solutions LLC, a non-legal consulting affilliate of the law firm of Harris Beach PLLC. Manetta will continue his consulting practice as HB Solutions from his current office location at 538 Broadhollow Rd. As an economic development and public affairs consultant of HB Solutions LLC, he will be spearheading the downstate growth of HB Solutions. Manetta is the founder and president of Standard Advisors Group, which he founded following his tenure as CEO and executive director of the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency. He is a well-respected leader on Long Island having been widely recognized for his efforts.

Manetta led the rebranding efforts of the Suffolk County IDA and created cutting edge initiatives during his tenure at The Agency. One of these programs, Boost, provided companies in the growth sector of the economy with a competitive advantage through aggressive incentives. He has also overseen the development of a jobs website designed to bolster workforce opportunities in manufacturing, sciences and technology. He directly influenced the significant growth of Suffolk County’s first emerging downtown “tech cluster” by supporting several early-stage companies and has helped launch a high-tech accelerator co-working environment.
Furthermore, he initiated and structured significant manufacturing, pharmaceutical and technological deals. While at the IDA, Manetta helped Suffolk County add thousands of jobs to the local workforce, tens of millions of dollars in new economic activity, hundreds of millions in capital reinvestment and tens of millions in new payroll dollars.
Prior to his appointment to the IDA, Manetta served as an executive at MAEVA Advisors, a corporate turnaround and restructuring boutique that specialized in creating value in highly complex situations. In addition to managing the firm’s day-to-day operations, he initiated qualitative research projects and oversaw the external affairs.
Manetta started his career as an entrepreneur; he was the founder of a highly successful public affairs and corporate advisory firm and managed its operations for a decade. During his tenure at his firm, he directed numerous projects with an emphasis on strategic planning, communications, corporate development and crisis management. Manetta’s client experiences range across municipal, commercial, real estate and industrial sectors, including dozens of public affairs campaigns.
Manetta has been recognized by trade associations and media outlets for his work, including being named one of Long Island Business News’ 40 leaders under the age of 40, the Melville Chamber of Commerce Business Advocate of the Year, awarded the Long Island Business News’ ‘IDA of the Year.’
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Manetta serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Hauppauge Industrial Association, the United Way of Long Island, ACIT (Advancement for Commerce Industry and Technology), the Village of Lindenhurst Economic Development Committee and former member of the Melville Plan Advisory Committee. He engages with his community as a member of several local organizations and he was a founding trustee of a local civic association.
Manetta holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Dowling College.
