The factory and warehouse at 274 Sandusky Rd. had been started in 1952 for a manufacturing purpose. In 1970 a 170,000 s/f addition was built to accommodate growth in assembly and warehousing activities. The property was converted to multi-tenant use and acquired by the Arcade Properties investment partnership in the 1980's.
The buyer, Steel & O'Brien Manufacturing, Inc., is a domestic manufacturer of sanitary stainless steel fittings for the food processing, pharmaceutical and various other industries.
