The Long Island Real Estate Group has elected six new members to its executive board.
They are Michael Blaymore, Brad Cronin, Richard Herzbach, Elizabeth Joyce, Paul Lefebvre and John Burns.
Blaymore, of Dix Hills, is a partner at the Roslyn Heights law firm Salamon, Gruber, Blaymore & Strenger PC, where he handles a broad spectrum of real estate and corporate-commercial matters, including real estate related litigation. Blaymore represents developers, title insurance companies, banks and other private and public corporations and has lectured at the Nassau County Bar Association on real estate related topics. He received his law degree in 1977 from St. John's University School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in History in 1974 from the State University at Albany. He devotes time to pro-bono and charitable causes, including serving as an advisor to the Nassau County 9/11 Memorial Foundation, Inc., and as a dedicated volunteer of the American Cancer Society. In 2003, he was recognized by Touro Law Center as one of Long Island's outstanding pro-bono attorneys.
Herzbach, also of Dix Hills, is a partner in the condominium and cooperative law department at the East Meadow law firm Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP. Herzbach is chairman of the Homeowners Association Subcommittee of the New York State Bar Association's Real Property Law Section Committee on Condominiums and Cooperatives, serves on the Bar Association's Liaison Committee with the Attorney General of the State of New York and was appointed to the New York State Attorney General's Task Force to revise the Condominium Act of the State of New York. He is also a member of both the law committee of the Associated Builders of New York and past president of the Long Island Chapter of CORENet Global. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law, where he is now an Adjunct Professor of Law.
Cronin, of Manhasset, is a partner in the Mineola law firm Cronin, Cronin and Harris PC where for more than 25 years he has practiced in the area of property tax reduction law. Cronin represents many of the largest developers, property owners and national corporations for their tax appeals in New York. As a member of the Nassau and Suffolk Condemnation and Tax Certiorari committee, Cronin has worked to implement changes to facilitate the timely resolution of commercial tax protests. He is also a member of the Institute of Property Taxation, New York State Bar Association, the Real Estate Tax Review Bar and the Planning Board of the Village of Plandome. Cronin involved with the Nature Conservancy and the Make a Wish Foundation. He is a supporter of Stony Brook University's Staller Center for the Arts, Hofstra University and organizations dealing with autism. Cronin earned his juris doctorate degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1981.

Joyce, of Cathedral Gardens, is a senior vice president of First American Title Insurance Co. of New York, in Uniondale, and is a top sales producer for the Long Island region, handling many prominent commercial transactions on Long Island and in New York City. She also is also a board member of the Institute of Real Estate at Hofstra and is an active member of the Association for a Better Long Island and the Long Island Builders Institute. She is a volunteer for the Nature Conservancy and The March of Dimes.
Lefebvre, of Center Moriches, is president of Ronkonkoma-based K.A.M. Construction Services, general contractors, a company he founded 10 years ago. He is active in various contractors associations and been an active sponsor for many years of "A Mother's Kiss," a nonprofit group dedicated to the families of childhood cancer patients for many years. He completed his undergraduate studies in construction management and stage craft at Wager University in 1980.

Burns of Matinecock is general partner of JAB Properties LLP, a real estate investment firm specializing in commercial properties. He oversees the development and construction of all the facilities and properties in the portfolio and is the dealer principal of BMW of Bayside, Mercedes-Benz of Southampton, Lexus of Smithtown, Lexus of Southampton, Audi of Huntington, Audi of Smithtown, Sunrise Volkswagen and Saturn of Hempstead. Burns serves on many professional boards and is active with numerous Long Island charities. He has served on the boards of the Thomas Hartman Foundation for Parkinson's Research and Christa House and was honored by the Center for Developmental Disabilities.

LIREG, formed in 2004 to encourage networking among Long Island real estate developers, owners and allied trades and to raise funds for charitable real estate-related projects on Long Island, now has 175 members. Besides Angela's House, LIREG has contributed more than $100,000 to such charities as Haven House/Bridges Inc., Sunrise Day Camp, Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Hospice Care Network and Habitat for Humanity.
