LIREG presents plaque to former president Cohn for his service

Richard Cohn, former president of the Long Island Real Estate Group for the past two years, was honored for his service with the presentation of a plaque at a recent meeting. Cohn was presented with the gavel plaque by his successor, David Einbinder. Cohn, a principal of Jericho-based Saturn Realty Partners, served as president of LIREG for the past two years, Einbinder is a principal in Hauppauge-based First Development Corp. LIREG, formed in 2004 to encourage networking among Long Island real estate developers, owners and allied trades and to raise funds for charitable real estate-related projects on Long Island, now has more than 200 members. LIREG has contributed more than $250,000 over the past five years to such charities as North Shore Holiday House, Children's Medical Fund of New York/Schneider Children's Hospital, Haven House/Bridges Inc., Sunrise Day Camp, Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Hospice Care Network and Habitat for Humanity.
