WEDLI hosts program to address NYS housing crisis

The Women Economic Developers of Long Island (WEDLI) recently hosted a program designed to help sort out NYS housing challenges and questions. In a program entitled Economic Stimulus: New York's Response to the National Housing Crisis, Marian Zucker, executive vice president, Housing Programs and Policy, addressed the organization's membership and guests. WEDLI hosts monthly meetings whose topics include the most pressing issues of our times. On March 12, a panel of four Long Island women publishers spoke about their wide-ranging experiences in the publishing world. The program was called "Power of the Press." Guests are always welcome. Most meetings take place at 8 a.m. at the The Woodlands, One Southwoods Rd., Woodbury.
