Life Time Fitness, Lighthouse Enterprises and Westchester County executive Astorino honored

Members of Westchester County's commercial real estate industry joined together on May 21 to honor Life Time Fitness and Lighthouse Enterprises, LLC at BOMA Westchester's 24th Annual Hall of Honor Awards Dinner. BOMA Westchester also presented its President's Award to Westchester County executive Robert Astorino. The three honorees were recognized for their contributions to Westchester's economy. The annual dinner was held at Tappan Hill Mansion.
Life Time Fitness helps organizations, communities and individuals achieve their total health objectives, athletic aspirations and fitness goals by engaging in their areas of interest both inside and outside of Life Time's professional fitness, family recreation and spa destinations, most of which operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In February 2014, Life Time Fitness opened a 206,000-square-foot comprehensive lifestyle, sports, professional fitness, family recreation, and spa resort at One Westchester Park Drive in Harrison. Accepting the award for Life Time Fitness was Jeff Melby, Senior Vice President of Development and Construction.



Lighthouse Enterprises is a White Plains-based real estate development company heavily focused on multi-family buildings in Westchester County. Over the past four years, the company has built five buildings totaling 143 apartments. The company recently broke ground on another 50-unit apartment building in Port Chester bringing the total to 193 apartments in its first four years of business. The company's White Plains projects include La Gianna at 10 DeKalb Avenue, The Dylan at 42 Waller Avenue and The Reed at 115 North Broadway. Accepting the award for Lighthouse Enterprises was company Founder and President David Mann.



Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino was elected to office in 2009 and re-elected in 2013 with bipartisan support winning by a 13-point margin. During his first term in office, Astorino froze or cut the county tax levy four years in a row, reduced overall spending in the county by 4.4 percent, maintained the highest credit rating among counties in New York, attracted new businesses to the county, and helped create 30,000 new jobs. In addition, Astorino has worked hard to preserve essential services by maintaining a sizable social safety net, improving ParaTrainsit for the disabled, establishing public-private partnerships, and expanding environmental and recycling initiatives.



In addition to the Hall of Honor Awards, awards were also presented for The Best of BOMA Signature Awards recognizing excellence in property management. This year's winners are:

BOMA Westchester also presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Michael Siegel, Executive Managing Director, Colliers International, who has served as emcee for the Hall of Honor Awards Dinner for many years.
