Levy of Adams & Co. leases 17,545 s/f at 1071 Avenue of the Americas; Reps landlord, Ten Seventy One Associates and tenant

Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC, Manhattan's premier full-service real estate firm specializing in property management, brokerage and consulting services, brokered a 3,545 s/f new lease and 14,000 s/f renewal at 1071 Ave. of the Americas for David Peyser Sportswear, Inc., for a total of 17,545 s/f. David Levy, principal of Adams & Co, represented the landlord, Ten Seventy One Associates, and the tenant in the transaction. Although the details of the transaction were not disclosed, asking rent was $56 per s/f. David Peyser Sportswear plans to use the space as general offices and showrooms for the sale of coats, outerwear and other apparel. "This fashionable location has proven to be beneficial for David Peyser Sportswear and we are pleased that they are expanding," said Levy. "1071 Ave. of the Americas is an extremely attractive building as it is located in the heart of a cultural center with stunning views of Bryant Park." The 12-story building boasts a view of Bryant Park. Notable tenants include Tommy Bahama, Sharp Entertainment and Bardwil Industries Inc.; retail tenants include Kinokuniya Books and Penguin Company Store.
