Manhattan, NY Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC, brokered eight deals at 34 West 33rd St. for a total of 6,529 s/ft. David Levy and Brett Maslin of Adams represented the tenants and landlord, Arcade Building Associates, in the following transactions:

• A 1,065 s/f renewal for A Bit of Honey, Inc. on the 12th floor. Asking rent was $58 per s/f.

• A 1,050 s/f renewal for SIT, Inc. on the ninth floor. Asking rent was $55 per s/f.

• A 1,019 s/f new lease for Information Systems Solutions & Services on the 12th floor. Asking rent was $55 per s/f.

• A 943 s/f renewal for Pryorities NY on the third floor. Asking rent was $60 per s/f.

• A 750 s/f new lease for Thread Showroom on the third floor. Asking rent was $55 per s/f.

• A 748 s/f renewal for Appaman on the third floor. Asking rent was $55 per s/f.

• A 492 s/f new lease for Nancy Market & Associates on the ninth floor. Asking rent was $60 per s/f.

• A 462 s/f new lease for Curly Girls on the ninth floor. Asking rent was $58 per s/f.

Also known as the Childrenswear Center, 34 West 33rd St. is a 158,200 s/f building located near Herald Square between Broadway and Fifth Avenue. Features include 24/7 infrared key access, new elevators, hallways and windows. Developed in 1908, the 12-story building hosts a roster of tenants that includes the Bentex Group, Baby Fair, and Flowers by Zoe.

Midtown Manhattan has experienced a surge in leasing due to the neighborhood’s extensive transit improvements including the Second Avenue Subway addition, upcoming addition of the LIRR service to Grand Central Terminal, renovation of the Port Authority Bus Terminal and the 7 Line subway extension.
