Levitan of Sierra Realty secures 1,000 s/f for landlord, Gilman Management

Peter Levitan, associate director at Sierra Realty Corp. has secured a seven-year retail lease at 267 Lafayette St. with vintage and limited edition sneaker-specialized franchise Flight Club. Sierra Realty represented both Flight Club and the landlord, Gilman Management. The 1,000 s/f space, which Flight Club rented for approximately $70 per s/f, is located at the intersection of Lafayette and Prince Sts. at the borders of SoHo and Nolita, where designer clothing, shoes and apparel shops attract some of the heaviest tourist and local shopping traffic in the city. The Lafayette St. store is Flight Club's third retail location in the borough. "This is a location in which a company like Flight Club will hit the ground running," said Levitan, who is also Flight Club's exclusive broker. "The vital neighborhoods that converge here are home to wealthy, fashion-conscience residents and, most importantly, are first-stop shopping destinations for tourists and locals alike." Sierra Realty previously represented Flight Club in securing their shop at 120 Nassau Street. Flight Club sneakers are sold exclusively on consignment, creating a market for customers to both buy and sell mint condition, highly collectable merchandise. Founded in 1953, Sierra Realty Corp. provides commercial property management services, third-party multi-family property management, office and store leasing, brokerage services to building owners and tenants, and real estate consulting services.

Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
