Levin Management secures PGA TOUR Superstore at Mayfair Shopping Center

Commack, NY PGA TOUR Superstore – the country’s leading specialty retailer for golf and tennis – is continuing its regional expansion with a new location at Mayfair Shopping Center. Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corp. (LMC) secured the 40,000 s/f anchor commitment as the property’s exclusive leasing and managing agent.

E.J. Moawad, LMC senior leasing representative, negotiated the transaction on behalf of Mayfair Shopping Center’s ownership; Hugh Scullin of Katz & Associates represented the tenant. The new store marks PGA TOUR Superstore’s third New York location and will open later this year, joining existing stores in Westbury and White Plains.

PGA TOUR Superstore is a one-stop shop for golfers of all skill levels. Staffed with teaching professionals, in-store offerings include swing simulators, practice and play hitting bays, and a 1,300 s/f putting green. There is also custom club fitting and repair. Along with equipment and accessories, PGA TOUR Superstore carries the largest selection of men’s, women’s and juniors’ apparel and footwear. Stores also sell tennis and pickleball equipment and accessories, and offer racquet restringing services.

“PGA TOUR Superstore’s customer-experience focus is unmatched in the golf retail business,” said Moawad. “This growing chain brings something completely new and different to Mayfair Shopping Center and undoubtedly will be a tremendous draw for golf and tennis enthusiasts in the community.”

Mayfair Shopping Center sits on heavily traveled Jericho Tpke., just east of the Sunken Meadow Pkwy., drawing 1.7 million visits per year, according to real time traffic data from Placer.ai. The PGA TOUR Superstore commitment continues a period of strong leasing activity at the 222,000 s/f property.

Mayfair Shopping Center’s newest tenants include top-ranked grocer Lidl, Planet Fitness, The Crushed Olive, Bagel Toasterie and Meet Bar & Izakaya. Another new restaurant, JBBQ & Shabu Shabu, is opening soon. These fresh faces have joined an existing strong lineup of national, regional and local retailers and service providers.
