LERA launches new VR software platform, IMMERSIFY

New York, NY According to Supple LLC, the software company created by structural engineering firm, Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA), they have officially launched IMMERSIFY, a new Virtual Reality (VR) software platform that enables architects, engineers and designers to easily bring models from Revit and Rhino directly into VR.

IMMERSIFY is a Virtual Reality-based collaboration platform unlike anything else on the market. IMMERSIFY is more than your standard VR presentation tool—it is a one-click to VR, real-time multi-user collaboration platform that establishes a two-way connection with Revit and Rhino. Its simplicity and ease-of-use means that everyone in an organization can jump right in, even without specialized VR equipment.

IMMERSIFY’s features include:

  • One-Click to VR from Revit and Rhino: Set the desired 3D view in Revit or Rhino, and with just one click, experience the model in Virtual Reality.
  • Real-Time Multi-User Collaboration Platform: Share VR files with your team, and join multiple users for real-time collaboration sessions in the VR environment. Users can connect to a VR session from multiple remote locations.
  • Two-Way Connection with Revit and Rhino: Have access to Revit parameters, linked models and even drawings while in VR. Edit the model, place tags, make annotations and  review comments. Import your edits and marks back into the original Revit and Rhino models, and share review comments and annotations with your team.
  • No specialized VR equipment required: IMMERSIFY works just as well with your desktop or laptop computer. With access to immersive 3D models, everyone in an organization can leverage IMMERSIFY’s power to utilize an enhanced, natural and intuitive perspective of geometry and space. Users with and without VR equipment can participate in online collaboration sessions together.

IMMERSIFY is a must-have tool for anyone that regularly uses Revit or Rhino.
