LePatner & Associates provides project management services to APS for expansion

Barry LePatner of LePatner & Associates - serving as construction counsel and project manager for the American Physical Society (APS) -took part in a groundbreaking ceremony in Suffolk County for the APS office building, which is expanding in size from 30,000 to 50,000 s/f. He was joined by Barry Barish, former APS president. Using the LePatner C3 "construction cost certainty" method, the law firm has been providing hands-on project management services to APS by overseeing selection of design and construction teams, incorporating cost containment provisions into construction contracts, and helping with regulatory approvals. APS is a non-profit organization that advances the knowledge of physics through a wide range of research and educational programs.
