LeFrak of LeFrak Organization to speak at October 9th luncheon

In a poignant address to members and guests of the Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association on September 11th, Kenneth Fisher, partner at Fisher Brothers, celebrated the growth of New York City's economy since September 11th, 2001, as opposed to its planned demise by terrorists six years ago. He discussed many of his family's more prominent buildings including 299 Park Ave. and 1345 Ave. of the Americas, as well as how dedicated he is to his family's foundations, namely Fisher House and the Intrepid Museum. Harrison LeFrak, managing director of the LeFrak Organization will address YM/WREA's next luncheon meeting on October 9th. He is the sixth generation to follow in the footsteps of a family of accomplished builders and developers. He joined the organization after graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs at Princeton University in 1994. Subsequently, he earned a J.D. degree from Harvard University Law School, and an MBA from Columbia University. Established in 1948, with a membership totaling approximately 375, Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association promotes greater understanding and knowledge of the real estate industry among its constituents through its monthly luncheons and wide variety of philanthropic activities including Habitat for Humanity Build Day, Central Park Clean-Up Day, an Annual Blood Drive, among others, in addition to many social functions.
