Lawyer joins Pliskin Realty & Development as an associate broker

According to Pliskin Realty & Development, William Lawyer has joined the firm as an associate broker. He brings to the role 12 years of real estate, business and financial experience, ranging from closing real estate transactions, real estate investment and commercial and multifamily property management to market analysis, budgets and cash flow management. Prior to joining Pliskin, Lawyer served as a property/asset manager with The 10:22 Group (Brooklyn, NY), where he was responsible for overseeing the operations and financial performance of an assigned portfolio of properties throughout New York City. His professional experience also includes his position as Investment Sales Director at Commercial Realty Nation (Carle Place, NY) with responsibility for managing and selling over $5 million of commercial real estate assets. During his tenure, he also negotiated numerous profitable leases with credit tenants. Additionally, Lawyer has served as: a City Hall/Land Use Intern with the Office of the Honorable Leroy Comrie, Councilmember, 27th District, New York, NY; a Property Investment Analyst with Marcus & Millichap (Brooklyn, NY); and a Distribution Supervisor with Coca Cola Enterprises, Inc. (Maspeth, NY). Lawyer graduated from New York University (NYU, New York, NY) with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Investment & Finance. He also holds an Associate of Science in Business Management Science from the University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC), as well as a Property Management Certificate from the New York Real Estate Institute and a Real Associate Certificate from the REAP (Real Estate Associate Program), attesting to his successful completion of commercial real estate courses focused on how the real estate professional preserves and enhances value through increasing net operating income and reducing risk, as well as asset management, development, renovation and tenant retention, leasing and brokerage, financial and property management. Lawyer is a member of the Princeton Club of New York, the NYU Real Estate Institute Student Association (REISA), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Schack Institute of Real Estate Student Association, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), and Urban Land Institute (ULI). He resides in Rosedale, NY.
