Kurland named partner at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP

According to the law firm of Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, Jason Kurland has been named a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group, effective January 1. Kurland's practice covers a broad range of commercial real estate matters with an emphasis on sales, acquisitions, financing, development, joint ventures, leasing, zoning and land use. He represents a number of clients nationwide in the sales and acquisitions of office buildings, hotels, apartment buildings, industrial facilities and shopping centers.  Additionally, he represents landlords and tenants in the leasing and subleasing of office, industrial, catering and retail space. Active in the community, Kurland volunteers his time with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and acts as a mentor in the LIKE (Lawyers Involved with Kid's Education) program, mentoring "at risk" 4th and 5th grade students at a local elementary school.
