H2M gives the gift of life through blood drive

H2M, a multi-disciplined engineering and architectural service firm with offices in New York and New Jersey recently hosted a blood drive through the Long Island Blood Services.  The staff participated in the drive on Friday, January 11. A total of 22 pints of blood was collected.  This was important because this is a critical time of year for blood shortages.  The 22 pints collected will benefit 60 people.  Long Island Blood Services said that the average person can donate whole blood every 56 days.  H2M runs two blood drives a year at the most critical times - January and June.  H2M's next drive will be Friday, June 20.  They will be giving something that cannot be artificially reproduced and can mean the difference to a person in need.
