Klein of Winoker Rlty. arranges 4,384 s/f lease renewal in Chelsea

Winoker Realty Co. has negotiated a 4,384 s/f lease renewal at 276 Fifth Ave. in the Chelsea district. Winoker Realty represented the building's owner, 276 Managers LLC, on the signing. The renewal gives office tenant, The Morgan Group, Inc., a home furnishing company, the right to occupy its fifth-floor suite for five more years. Elliot Klein, senior VP at Winoker, exclusively represented the landlord. "Originally built as the Holland House Hotel in 1891, this property has retained much of its architectural detailing and is a distinct reminder of New York's gilded age," said Klein. "The building also benefits from 21st century amenities and mechanicals. Not only were the elevators and bathrooms recently restored, but the office suites were also upgraded to give users all the modern advantages in a highly elegant setting." Situated on Fifth Ave. along the edge of the Chelsea district, the building's location makes it attractive to a wide spectrum of users. The 11-story, class B office building consists of 199,578 s/f of rentable space.
