Continuing to double revenues year over year in a tough economic climate. What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2010? There were several in the medical device sector. How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? To company: by being responsive to needs of colleagues and clients. To industry: by giving back through speaking engagements sharing knowledge/experiences. What advice would you give to women just starting out in commercial real estate? Truly believe in yourself; if you don't believe you can make it happen, no one else will. How do you manage the work/life balance? I get less sleep than I probably should (in order to have time to ride horse, play hockey, train and spend time with loved ones). Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career? Ultimately, my own internal drive to succeed. What impact has social networking had on your business? To date, it hasn't moved the needle, but feel the tide is turning. I believe in the near future, it will have a strong impact on the industry as a whole.
