Kanata joins Compass as executive director of New York commercial division

Manhattan, NY According to Adelaide Polsinelli, vice chairman of Compass, the firm has added Eric Kanata as an executive director in their New York commercial division.

Kanata joins the Polsinelli-Graff team, bringing with him experience in investment sales and leasing.

Kanata’s career spans roles at Jamestown, L&L Holding, and, Silverstein Properties.

Throughout his career, Kanata has managed seven million s/f of commercial assets and has overseen one million s/f of development projects.

During his time at L&L Holding, Kanata contributed to projects, including:

• 425 Park Ave.: A 700,000 s/f office building in Manhattan.

• The Wynwood Plaza: A one million s/f ground-up development in Miami.

At Silverstein Properties, Kanata made notable contributions to:

• 4 World Trade Center: Managing two and a half million s/f.
