Woodland Park, NJ JRM Construction Management has successfully completed a major construction project for a confidential client’s Headquarters office building. The project totaled approximately 24,000 s/f and was completed in two phases.
“This project was no small undertaking,” said Marc Reissman, JRM principal. “We coordinated closely with selected contractors and facilities to ensure the building remained fully occupied, operational and especially safe, during all renovations.”
This project consisted of major upgrades to the ceilings, MEPS, lighting, wall covering, millwork, bathroom fixtures and amenities, as well as renovations and upgrades to the main cafeteria, entrance lobby, large 3 story atrium, 3 floors of main corridors, 4 floors of pantries, and 2 core bathrooms.
This project was performed in two phases with phase 1 involving the ground floor and lobby, and the atrium and floors 2-4. The 2nd phase involved the 2nd, 3rd and 5th floors pantries and 3rd floor core bathrooms. Prior to demolition, JRM aided in the liquidation of the existing furniture scheduled for reuse throughout the lobby and 1st floors. New finishes include installing specialty decorative wallcovering, high end wood slats ceiling throughout the corridors, new window treatments, ceilings and multiple types and location of very decorative and elaborate light fixtures.
JRM collaborated very closely to ensure a successful project, both on time, and within budget, with the most professional assistance and guidance from the Project Architect, Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel Architects and MEP Engineer, Robert Derector Associates.
