JRM completes construction of Suzuki; Team includes WDG and ABS Engineering

Manhattan, NY JRM Construction Management has completed building Suzuki, a Japanese restaurant at 114 West 47th St. JRM worked with WDG Interiors Architecture and ABS Engineering to complete the full Japanese kitchen for the restaurant, complete with custom millwork throughout.

Located in the Theatre District, Suzuki aims to present traditional Japanese cuisine in a contemporary setting. The design of the restaurant was built around the idea of mixing the old and new to create a completely customized and unique space.

JRM installed a full working kitchen as well as a one-story elevator with a private entrance, transporting guests to the lower level. The elevator opens to a vestibule, leading into the restaurant and private bar area. High-end Lusive-brand light fixtures illuminate the main entrance, bar and dining area and custom tiles line the walls.

“We worked with the finest materials to bring this restaurant to fruition and the result speaks for itself in terms of quality,” said JRM project director Richard Campanella. “From the millwork to the architecture and private entryway, the customization of this project has created an elegant and unique final product.”
