Based in Manhattan, I identify and analyze property acquisition opportunities, specifically grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout the Southeast and Colorado, as well as apartment buildings and unsold apartment packages in condo or co-op buildings in New York City. I supervise acquisitions through closing and manage day-to-day oversight of our Atlanta portfolio. We plan to grow our retail portfolio to 1.5 million s/f in Atlanta and continue to seek penetration into select markets. In New York, our goal is to continue to find well placed rental apartment buildings that would suit conversion to condo or co-op with a long-term investment outlook. 2024 Year in Review: William O’Brien, M.C. O’Brien, Inc.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
