Over the past 18 months I have focused energy on giving the downtown business district in the Village of Bronxville a facelift. Nationals such as Soul Cycle, bluemercury, Juice Press and Pure Barre and regionals like Candy Rox, PRF Family of Diners, Pure Mountain Olive Oil as well as a number of local businesses have joined the retail landscape in Bronxville. What has been your experience with having a mentor or being a mentor yourself? I work with a wonderful woman named Joan Simon at Admiral who has been in the Westchester market longer than I and at times, she takes me under her wing and is always around as a sounding board. Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why? My parents as they made sure I understood that my world had no boundaries. What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning? Make a list of who I need to touch base with and what I need to accomplish. What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you? I'll let you know when I figure it out. What is the best advice you have received and who was it from? Don't make it personal, it's business. List 3 women that you would like to have drinks / dinner with and where would you go? Assuming my selection would be among the living I would want to break bread with Hillary Clinton, Catherine Deneuve, Anna Wintour and I would ask to go to a of favorite spot of their choice. What is your favorite quote? "Hard work brings good luck" What did you want to be when you grew up? Happy and healthy
