What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career? One of the most valuable leadership lessons I’ve learned came from a former receptionist who often said, “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.”
What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career? The greatest leadership lesson I’ve learned is to lead with patience and resilience. Property management means balancing the competing priorities of owners, tenants, vendors, and regulators, and it’s impossible to satisfy everyone all the time.
What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? The most rewarding deal this year was financing the full electrification of Herald Towers, the first multifamily C-PACE transaction ever completed in New York City.
What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? One of my most rewarding transactions was a complex $200 million refinancing for a luxury multifamily asset in Austin, TX. It required closing within just 30 days.

Throughout my career, some of my most impactful mentors have taught me the importance of accountability and how being transparent, admitting mistakes, and openly discussing difficult decisions can help strengthen client relationships and team cohesion.
What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? I recently merged my office with Montroy Architecture and became a principal within the firm. I am currently focusing on growing our K-12 educational, hospitality and residential portfolios, in addition to Montroy’s commercial, workplace and retail practices.

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? Closing some of the nation’s first loans under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), the $27 billion federal program capitalizing clean energy lending, has been the most rewarding work of my career.
What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? Echelon Studios’ $304 million construction financing for ground-up film and television production facilities at two Brooklyn sites.
b>What trend or change in commercial real estate do you believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years? Artificial intelligence, though not how the headlines suggest. We are early in the adoption curve, and most of the industry has not embraced AI for critical decision making.
