Sigourney joins Ariel Property Advisors as director in Investment Sales Division

Manhattan, NY Andre Sigourney has joined Ariel Property Advisors director in the Investment Sales Division. In addition to originating and executing exclusive listings, Sigourney is responsible for leading business development and networking initiatives in the borough below 96th St., with a particular focus on the Midtown West, Hell’s Kitchen, Hudson Yards and Chelsea neighborhoods.

Sigourney comes to Ariel from CPEX Real Estate where he was a managing director in the Retail Investment Sales Division. In this role, he led a team of sales professionals focused on the New York Metro area, with a concentration on Brooklyn and Queens. Sigourney managed all projects within his business line by maintaining client relationships, developing custom marketing campaigns and leading the negotiation process.

Since entering the New York City market, Sigourney has worked with institutional clients, experienced investors and seasoned developers, brokering 50 transactions with an aggregate value of over $125 million. In 2015, The Brooklyn Home Reporter & Brooklyn Spectator named him “King of Kings County” for his excellence in commercial real estate.

Sigourney is involved in various charities and organizations both in conjunction with the company and in his personal life. Among those he is involved with are the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Sigourney graduated from Syracuse University with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy.

Ariel Property Advisors is a commercial real estate services and advisory company. The company covers all major commercial asset types throughout the NY metropolitan area, while maintaining a very sharp focus on multifamily, mixed-use and development properties.
