Ones To Watch: Innovators in CRE: Jack Ovadia

Jack Ovadia

Innovation Highlight:

What I’m most proud of is building Ovadia Design Group (ODG) so the client deals with one team from first sketch to final install. We design, manage construction, and through Ocasa, our partner furnishing and procurement company, we supply custom furniture, decorative lighting, area rugs, tile and stone. Fewer handoffs means fewer mistakes, tighter budgets, and a finished space that looks like the rendering. On large projects that’s the difference between a good job and a great one.

Industry Outlook:

Developers are realizing that design sells and leases space. Buyers and tenants now expect a hotel level of finish in residential buildings, amenity floors and even offices, and the projects that deliver it tend to move faster. The opportunity is in bringing custom, high end design to larger scale work without blowing the schedule or budget. That’s where our partnership with Ocasa makes a real difference for developers and architects.
