Ones To Watch: Innovators in CRE: Aquatic Wellness Built on Experience

Pools, cold plunges and thermal environments across New York and the Caribbean.

Aquatics International Group built TMPL’s aquatic wellness facilities in New York City. Its completed portfolio also includes the resort pool complex at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas. That experience shapes how the company approaches the next rooftop pool, resort amenity or commercial wellness space: with the practical perspective of a builder.

Led by founder and president Christopher Fogleman, the company works across hospitality, fitness and private residential properties. Its scope includes swimming pools, commercial cold plunges, saunas, steam rooms and hydrotherapy environments, connecting early planning and design coordination with construction.

For owners and developers considering a new location, Aquatics International Group helps identify suitable spaces and assess their potential for pool and wellness facilities before a location is selected. The planning process considers equipment location, access, drainage, supporting services and maintenance alongside the experience the client wants to create. A rooftop pool requires coordination with the building’s design and engineering team; a Caribbean resort brings site logistics and operating considerations into focus.

Current work includes resort design in Exuma, Bahamas, New York City rooftop pool projects, and spaces supporting aquatic and thermal wellness experiences. Pool construction is focused on New York and the Caribbean. In Florida, construction services are focused on saunas and steam rooms.

“A great wellness space starts with understanding how it will be built, used and maintained.”
