Newman and Caracappa of W&M lease 2,182 s/f

Voestalpine USA Corp. has renewed its lease at W&M Properties' 500 Mamaroneck Ave. for the second time since its tenancy began in 2000, according to Jeffrey Newman, executive VP of W&M Properties, the marketing and managing agent for the building. The firm signed the renewal nine months ahead of lease expiration and will remain in its 2,182 s/f space on the third floor through 2013.Newman and assistant VP Kathleen Caracappa represented the landlord. The Newmark Knight Frank team of Michael McCarthy and Michael McCall represented the tenant. "Our experience at this building has been great," said Claus Danninger, president of Voestalpine. "500 Mamaroneck offers great amenities, and ownership is proactive and attentive. In addition, the property is very attractive and well-maintained - from the lawn and flowers outside to the lobby area and common corridors. We are pleased to renew our commitment to this trophy location." 500 Mamaroneck Ave. is a five-story, 285,000 s/f, multi-tenanted office building.
