Monroe Roadways awarded site contract for Union Square Apartments; new 14-building, 117-unit complex at 85 Union Sq. Blvd.

Monroe Roadways, one of Rochester's leading site construction experts, was awarded the contract for site construction services of the new 14-building, 117-unit apartment complex at 85 Union Sq. Blvd. Monroe is working with local real estate developer Morgan Management and local general contractor Spoleta Construction on the project. Work is currently underway, with completion slated for early 2016. "Monroe Roadways is proud to work with both Morgan Management and Spoleta Construction on this notable project," said Monroe Roadways president, Jeff Taylor. "Investments such as this continue to exemplify what it takes to strengthen our towns, and provide a rewarding living experience in our communities." Monroe Roadways will be providing a full range of services for the 12-acre project. A state-of-the-art GPS modeling system will be used to construct the site work. which includes: land clearing, erosion control management, storm water control systems, foundation excavations, site utility construction, concrete slabs and gutters, concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving, and traffic control measures.
