Conklin, Foley and Najarian of Studley honored by Hartz Mountain
Hartz Mountain Industries has named Chip Conklin, Dan Foley and Gregg Najarian of international commercial real estate services firm Studley, 2009 Office Brokers of the Year. They were three of the 11 office and industrial brokers who were presented with this award at an event hosted by Hartz back in November.
The three were recognized for representing Eisai Medical Research Inc (EMR), a subsidiary of Eisai Corp. of North America, on a 118,000 s/f lease for the entire building at 155 Tice Blvd. in Woodcliff Lake.
This lease, which was arranged by Studley in March along with a second, 41,000 s/f lease at the Mack-Cali-owned building, 300 Tice Blvd., created a headquarters campus environment for Eisai Corp. of North America, which has been located in 210,000 s/f at 100 Tice Blvd. for the past two years.
"There were many moving parts to these transactions," said Najarian, referring in part to the long-term lease at 155 Tice, which included EMR subleasing its former headquarters space in Ridgefield Park back to the landlord Hartz Mountain.
We applaud Hartz's ability to resolve the complexities of the transaction to everyone's satisfaction," added Mr. Foley.
