GFP Real Estate signs Indecor Home to 16,806 s/f lease at 247 West 37th St.

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate said that Indecor Home, a New York-based designer and manufacturer of home décor products, has signed a 10-year lease for the entire 16,806 s/f fifth floor at 247 West 37th St. in the Garment District.

Indecor Home will use the space for its executive, sales and design offices and a home products showroom. The company is currently located at 240 Madison Ave.

“Indecor needed room to bring its teams and showroom together, and the full floor at 247 West 37th St. gives it the flexibility to do that,” said Matthew Mandell, senior managing director of GFP Real Estate. “The building continues to attract businesses that value a central Manhattan location and space they can shape around the way they work.”

Mandell represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate. David Menaged of Intrepid Real Estate Group represented Indecor Home.

Originally constructed in 1924 by Bricken Construction Company and designed by Gronenberg & Leuchtag, 247 West 37th St. is a 19-story, 271,000 s/f property that has undergone renovations, including a modernized lobby and upgraded elevator systems. The building is home to a mix of nonprofit and fashion tenants, including JASA, Workmen’s Circle, The Settlement Housing Fund, and designer Prabal Gurung, with The Henny anchoring the ground floor. Located in the Garment District, the property offers access to transit, amenities, and Midtown’s business districts.
