ICG Inc. promotes Schwartz to V.P. of business development

ICG Inc., a global provider of Internet intelligence and threat management solutions, today announced the promotion of Harris Schwartz to vice president of business development. "As director of investigations, Harris brought considerable expertise to clients in the fight against cybercrimes. We're excited to promote him to this key leadership role as head of our company's business development strategies," said Jeffrey Bedser, CEO of ICG Inc. Recognized as a national expert in cyber issues and Internet crimes, Schwartz came to ICG in January 2010 with more than 15 years of corporate security and information security experience, working with a wide range of industries, including Internet Service Providers (ISPs), financial institutions, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. Schwartz serves on the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG), the High Tech Crime Investigators Association (HTCIA) and as an advisory board member for the Criminal Justice Program for Western Career Colleges. He holds certifications in Computer Forensics (CCFS) and Homeland Security (CHS). An active participant in information security industry alliances and working groups, Schwartz was among the original founders of GetNetWise, a project of the Internet Education Foundation, and has been a long-standing advisor to WiredSafety in helping to protect children online.
