IA welcomes Oguro as design director in NY studio

Manhattan, NY IA has welcomed its newest addition of Naoko Oguro, IIDA, CID, as design director in their New York studio. With a focus on advancing the studio’s innovative design goals, Oguro brings over 20 years of expertise as a workplace designer leading a variety of complex projects across the city, and beyond.

Oguro’s portfolio includes award-winning projects ranging from large-scale headquarters, to healthcare and government building work. 

“I am so excited to join IA in New York. The studio has such a strong brand in the market, paired with a depth of amazing talent, that I look forward to building on that foundation. IA is best in class for commercial interiors and I’m so honored to be a part of the team,” said Oguro.

Oguro’s experience includes projects for high-profile clients such as Bank of America, the General Services Administration, Estee Lauder, WSP, Henkel, and Columbia Presbyterian. She excels at building and nurturing client relationships, storytelling, hospitality and amenity design, world-class headquarter renovations and new builds, while leading the creation of high-performance, forward-thinking workplace experiences for her clients.
