What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?
Throughout my career, some of my most impactful mentors have taught me the importance of accountability and how being transparent, admitting mistakes, and openly discussing difficult decisions can help strengthen client relationships and team cohesion. Accountability creates ownership, while clear, honest communication empowers people to take initiative and share ideas without fear. By actively listening, holding regular check-ins, and fostering a safe environment for discussion, leaders build trust, reinforce accountability, and drive stronger team performance.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
Be confident, speak with knowledge and conviction, and never underestimate the value of your perspective. Push yourself beyond your comfort zone by taking on challenging projects, clients, and opportunities, even when they feel unfamiliar; the most meaningful growth often comes from the experiences that challenge us the most. As the commercial real estate industry evolves, women who invest in themselves and embrace the challenges ahead of them will be well positioned to thrive in their fields and build successful, long-term careers.
