Houlihan Lawrence, one of the leading real estate firms serving New York City's northern suburbs, celebrated a banner year and its top 125 sales agents at a recent special cocktail reception at Blue Hill Stone Barns. For the third year in a row, Nancy Kennedy claimed the number one spot with the highest gross commission income (GCI) of all Houlihan Lawrence agents - and the highest number of homes sold and sales dollar volume for the entire Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service in 2013. The top three agents from each of the firm's 26 offices were also honored for their significant achievements.
"We could not be prouder of the stellar performance put forth by all of our agents in 2013, and especially the incredible brokers who make up the top 10% of the firm and represent some of the industry's finest talent," said Chris Meyers, managing principal of Houlihan Lawrence. "With their commitment to excellence and innovation, these agents are raising the bar for client service and setting the pace for the market."
Houlihan Lawrence had total sales volume of $4.7 billion in 2013, placing the firm among the Top 20 of all brokerages nationally according to Real Trends. Houlihan Lawrence sells about one third of all homes across the suburban markets north of New York City, more than double the sales of its closest competitor in the region.
With a successful track record of 125 years of leadership, Houlihan Lawrence is the area's largest independently owned company, with over 1,200 New York and Connecticut realtors focused on Westchester County, Fairfield County, Putnam County and Dutchess County.
