Horowitz and Tyler of Marcus & Millichap arranges $1.05 million sale

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has completed the sale of 147 Union St., a 3,438 s/f mixed-use property, according to J.D Parker, regional manager of the firm's area office. The asset commanded a sales price of $1.05 million. John Horowitz and Mark Tyler, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the sellers, private investors. The buyer, a partnership, was also secured and represented by Horowitz and Tyler. "This vacant building in the Columbia St. Waterfront District was sold at an above market price to an end user. We not only facilitated the transaction but were influential in getting the sellers to resolve a number of major violations and attain a new certificate of occupancy, without which the deal would not have closed," said Tyler.
