HGAR Bronx Chapter holds 87th annual golf/tennis outing

Bronx, NY The Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR) Bronx Chapter held its 87th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing on Monday, July 18 at The Village Club of Sands Point. The all-day event honored Benjamin Schwartz of Metropolitan Property Services as “Outstanding Realtor Member” and Boz Reilly of Marathon Energy as “Outstanding Affiliate Member.” The event will also benefit the Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation and Camp Good Days.

The outing featured a comprehensive full day of activities including golf and tennis tournaments, lunch, prize drawings, a silent auction, networking opportunities, and much more. The event finished with awards presentations and a full dinner.

The auction benefited the HG REALTOR® Foundation and other charities. Founded in 1979, Camp Good Days is a not-for-profit organization for children being treated for cancer. It has served more than 50,000 campers from 22 states and 36 foreign nations. All of its programs and services are free of charge for families.

Schwartz is president/CEO at Metropolitan Property Services Inc. (MPS), a full-service, property management firm.

In 1994, Schwartz founded MPS. Over the years his role evolved from overseeing the physical properties to handling the operational as well as financial side of the properties within the Metropolitan portfolio.  Based in Briarwood, Queens, MPS manages; multi-family, commercial, and retail properties throughout all five boroughs of NYC and Long Island.  Schwartz is a New York State licensed real estate broker. He graduated from Pace University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Insurance. While working as property manager, Schwartz received his Master of Science degree in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University.

Reilly serves as senior energy advisor for Marathon Energy, a full-service energy provider serving businesses throughout NY, NJ, PA and MD. With over 20 years of industry experience and a lifelong resident of the Bronx, Reilly has vast knowledge within the multi-dwelling market, advising customers on their energy needs – including natural gas, electricity, propane, heating oil, diesel, gasoline and renewable energy.
