Heritage Realty promotes Zimmar to director of operations and leasing

According to George Constantin, founder and CEO of Heritage Realty Services, Peter Zimmar has been promoted to director of operations and leasing. In his new role, Zimmar is responsible for managing the operations division for Heritage Realty Services' 500,000 s/f commercial real estate portfolio, executing capital improvement campaigns, as well as marketing and leasing efforts for properties owned and managed by Heritage Realty Services. Zimmar has been a member of the Heritage team since 2006 when he joined as a property manager. During his time at the company, he has been instrumental in executing the $2 million value-add campaign at Gannett Office Park in White Plain's I-287 corridor, a project that brought new lobbies, Energy Star-rated elements and a custom-designed, glass-enclosed bicycle shelter to the class A property. In addition, he has become a familiar face around the property, often leading and participating in the company's various tenant programs such as Tenant Appreciation Day, as well as at Heritage's assets in Manhattan, such as 67 Irving Place, 12 East 52nd St. and 420 Fifth Ave. "Peter has played a critical role in maintaining the properties under Heritage's umbrella, as well as leading tenant retention strategies," said Constantin. "Peter's promotion is just another step in Heritage's overall growth. As we continue to expand and add more properties to our portfolio, Peter will be instrumental in maintaining our properties and ensuring tenants' satisfaction." Prior to joining Heritage, Zimmar served as a mortgage associate at Argent Mortgage Co. in White Plains, and later joined Trump Mortgage Co. as a mortgage consultant and loan officer. Zimmar is currently obtaining his Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in investment management at Pace University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University.
