Helmsley Spear arrange 13,500 s/f lease for NYFACS

New York, NY Helmsley Spear, LLC has represented the New York French American Charter School (NYFACS) in a new lease located at 2108 -2118 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. at 126th St. The lease covers the entire 3rd floor of the 6 story building, totaling 13,500 s/f.

The Helmsley Spear leasing team of Brett Zelner and Dawn Chartoff, executive managing director and director, respectively, represented the tenant, NYFACS. In this transaction NYFACS signed a lease for a term of 15 years. The school will commence operations at this location in the Fall, 2022.    

“This is the second location for the NYFACS charter school, and at this new location they will have a dedicated ground floor building entrance, state of the art building mechanicals, new classroom and administrative facilities, cafeteria warming stations and excellent access to public transportation. We are extremely proud to have arranged this lease for a noteworthy Manhattan charter school that will serve the Harlem community,” said Zelner and Chartoff.    

The landlord, Jem Realty Management was represented by Paul Walker of CBRE. 

“I am so thrilled that Brett and Dawn represented the NYFACS in this important lease for a new educational facility in Harlem. This facility is a great educational asset to the Harlem community and the entire City,” said Kent Swig, president of Helmsley Spear, LLC.
