Helbling of Sabre Real Estate Group arranges $705,000 sale

Sabre Real Estate Group LLC has arranged the sale of a long vacant building and an adjacent Dairy Barn store for $705,000. The Harry F. Arlin and Karen R. Arlin, Living Trust sold the 3,400 s/f two-story building at 5 Commack Rd. to G-Men Properties, LLC, a real estate investment firm affiliated with the Gentile family, which owns the Adventureland amusement park in Farmingdale. The two-story building, just south of Jericho Tpke., formerly housed Short Stop Printing. It is to be renovated and turned into office space. Dairy Barn, which occupies 1,400 s/f in s separate building on the lot, will remain a tenant. Russel Helbling, a director at Sabre, arranged the sale on behalf of the seller directly with G-Men Properties. Founded by Kenneth Breslin and Jayson Siano, experienced retail real estate professionals, Sabre Real Estate Group is a full-service retail real estate brokerage company focused on tenant and owner representation. Sabre also offers retail, restaurant and franchise consultation services, investment sales and property management.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
