HAPIK opens 15,000 s/f in Industry City

Brooklyn, NY Climbers can conquer new challenges, scale unique courses, and tap into their inner adventurer at the new action-packed indoor climbing gym HAPIK, opening in Building 6 at Industry City, the 35-acre mixed-use complex comprising 16 waterfront buildings in Sunset Park. The 15,000 s/f adventure gym is HAPIK’s first in New York City, following locations in Yonkers, Los Angeles, and Firewheel, TX. and will offer more than 50 climbing walls, two rope courses, and space to accommodate birthday celebrations and group events.

HAPIK launches participants to new heights through climbing walls that reach up to 24 ft. in height, rope courses with varying difficulty levels, and vertical challenges with eccentric designs, like Bambous, Walk The Plank, or the Rubik, as well as an interactive digital treasure hunt perfect puzzle-solvers that can be partaken by solo climbers or as a competitive birthday party upgrade. HAPIK aims to provide an exciting entryway into the world of climbing and encourage participants of all ages – from children to young professionals and parents alike – to further develop their self-confidence, explore the world of climbing, and accomplish great things. Each of the course challenges utilizes an auto belay system to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone.

Shortly after opening, HAPIK will provide event booking opportunities that will elevate birthday parties, corporate team bonding events, school group and field trip climbing sessions, and more. HAPIK joins a number of fitness and entertainment options at Industry City, including the tenant-exclusive gym facility ICAC By La Palestra, and other after-work hot spots like Industry City’s Food Hall, art exhibitions like Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition, events like House of Yes’ City of Gods Festival, and some friendly competition found in Industry City’s Brooklyn Escape Room.
